Designing for Patient Voice in Interactive Health

This space is an attempt to continue thinking together.

The ideas in this paper, titled “Designing for Patient Voice in Interactive Health” (arXiv available https://arxiv.org/abs/2604.01558), are still very much in progress, and I do not see them as complete or settled. I’ve used the paper to sketch one possible way of thinking about “patient voice” in Interactive Health, but there are many gaps, tensions, and things I’m unsure about.

If any part resonates with you to some extent, or feels problematic, incomplete, or missing – I would really value hearing your perspective.

You might respond with:

reflections from your own work or lived experience
points of disagreement or tension
examples that complicate or challenge these ideas
alternative ways of imagining how experiential knowledge could be supported in IH

This is not meant to be a formal or academic space. Notes, fragments, questions, or partial thoughts are all welcome.

If you prefer, you’re also welcome to contribute anonymously.
